Rating System and Review Format:
When I review dramas I will be using a rating system. To make things easier and less confusing for myself I will follow the Goodreads system for rating books on their website which I also use to review books at Boundless Books. It goes like this:
5/5: It was amazing - I highly recommend it and you should go and watch it ASAP.
4/5: It was great - I really liked it and would definitely recommend it.
3/5: It was good - I enjoyed watching it despite some problems I had with the drama and would recommend it to certain people.
2/5: It was okay - I found some aspects of the drama enjoyable, but also a lot of problems that would deter me from recommending it to most people.
1/5: I didn't like it - I found too many problems with the drama to enjoy watching it and would not recommend it.
I will include half ratings where I feel it's appropriate.
All of my drama reviews will include basic information about the drama (i.e. cast, year aired, plot synopsis). The actual review will be organized into aspects of the drama I liked and aspects of the drama I did not like, typically in the form of a numbered list. I will then conclude with a brief overview about what I thought of the drama and my overall rating.
Spoilers:
All reviews for dramas will be spoiler free unless explicitly stated otherwise at the beginning of the review.
Disclaimer:
All opinions (unless stated otherwise) expressed on this blog about music, artists or dramas are wholly my own and should be treated as such. This blog was created with the purpose of encouraging discussions about aspects of Korean popular culture I enjoy for entertainment and for fun. Anything negative I have to say about a song, album, drama or music video should be viewed as a critique on that content and not as an attack on the creator or artist. Also, any links provided for songs or music videos will be to the official website or Youtube page whenever possible.
