About the Blog: 

Welcome to It's Totally KPOP!  The blog was created in May of 2013 to be a place for me to share my thoughts about all things K-Pop related.  I created this blog in the hopes that I will be able to connect with other people from around the world who share a similar love for Korean music and culture.  Most of the content you will find on this blog will have to do with the most recent Korean pop music (K-Pop!) but there will also be features on older songs/artists and indie music as well.  I also hope to feature posts on other aspects of Korean popular culture; such as dramas, manhwa, food and fashion.  I hope you enjoy It's Totally KPOP and that we can have lots of awesome discussions about everything Korean!

About Me:

I'm Meghan,  the creator of It's Totally KPOP.  I recently graduated from university and I live in Ontario, Canada.  I was first introduced to Korean music all the way back in 2004 (ish) when I heard BoA's Every Heart as an ending theme song for the anime Inu Yasha.  It didn't take me long to find out that BoA was actually Korean.  That began my now almost 10 year relationship with Korean and Japanese music.  Since then the artists and songs I listen to has changed and diversified but some of my favourites will always be BoA, DBSK, Rain, Big Bang and 2NE1.  When I'm not listening to music or replaying my favourite music videos/concerts over and over again you can find me reading, catching up on my favourite dramas, animes and TV shows or playing with my cats.
